The College of Business and Economics building, opened in 2012, is an ultra-modern facility that features a state-of-the-art trading room, technologically advanced classrooms, and ample study and collaboration spaces.


Radford University’s Covington Center for the Arts features an extraordinary 350-seat performance hall boasting state-of-the-art adjustable acoustics designed by renowned architects Jaffe and Holden. The facility is also home to the RU Art Museum and the Department of Music.


Radford University’s Student Recreation and Wellness Center opened to students in December 2014. The 110,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility serves as the new home of RU student recreation, fitness and wellness.


Open 24 hours a day during the academic year, Radford University’s Young Hall has been ranked among the top five most digitally advanced academic buildings in the United States. The all-digital classrooms accommodate different learning and teaching styles, making it the perfect location for active, hands-on learning.


One of the most beautiful spots on campus is the Governor’s Quad, thus named because it is bordered by four residence halls that are named after Virginia governors: Floyd, Stuart, Trinkle and Peery. Whitt Hall and the Hurlburt Student Center bookend this gorgeous spot.


Radford University’s Moffett Hall is the second-largest residence hall on campus. In 2012, it underwent a transformation, making it one of the most environmentally friendly buildings on campus. The building has received gold LEED certification from the US Green Building Council.


Radford University’s McConnell Library contains a growing collection of more than 500,000 books and bound periodicals. In addition to its large collection, it offers technologically advanced study and collaboration spaces.


The Bonnie Hurlburt Student Center provides students with on-campus dining, pool tables, a bowling alley, ping-pong tables, a movie theater and computer labs. It is also home to the Department of Student Activities and the Student Government Association.


Right at the heart of campus is one of the most scenic and iconic spots on campus – the Fountain. When the weather is nice, the manicured lawns are always filled with students studying, playing touch football and Frisbee, and chatting with friends.


The Radford University College of Visual and Performing Arts provides scores of cultural opportunities throughout the year, including theatre productions, dance performances, concerts and art exhibitions.
